Hi all, I'm going to continue my discussion about "The North Wind". Lyrically this song is pretty clearly about the Holy Spirit. Elias was listening to a lot of Immortal Souls at the time and I appreciated their icy imagery. The title "The North Wind" was a starting point inspired by Immortal Souls. From there I just let the lyrics flow, fashioning the words around the North Wind/Holy Spirit concept. I wanted to give the idea of the human spirit being bought back to life by the Holy Spirit. I think I wrote the whole set of lyrics in about 20 minutes. They flowed really nicely.

I hope you all still enjoy the song, it's one of my favourites we've done.
