25th April 2017 - ANZAC Day in Australia and New Zealand

Hi everyone. Today is a public holiday in Australia and New Zealand, commemorating ANZAC Day. This is the day we recognise the sacrifice made in times of war and what that means for our current freedom. When I wrote the lyrics to "War Is Hell" I was very much writing from that perspective. I would like to acknowledge and pay my respects to all of those men and women who gave their lives for our country. I would also like to acknowledge all those who sacrificed their physical or mental health in times of war. We our those people the freedom we enjoy here in Australia.

Right now I'm listening to "Erasing The Goblin" by Mortification. This is probably my favourite Mortification album, due to the fact I had a lot to do with Steve around the time it was released. I listened to it a lot in the lead up to the "Live Humanitarian" gig and subsequently developed a real fondness for it. If you haven't listened to t for a while, give it a spin!

God Bless and Rock On!
