It was great today to spend some time with Matt. Obviously we see each other relatively regularly, but the band hasn't been particularly active while I've been doing the behind the scenes stuff on the new album. We chatted about a lot of things, and I mentioned to him my idea to do a solo album at my home studio. He was really supportive and he's happy to play bass on it. I'm thinking that I'll get working on it as soon as I've finalised the release of the Grave Forsaken album. I also had a really good practice through my newly purchased Marshall 30 watt amp. it's got great kick for a small amp.
